Hi. I’m Kashara.

I believe that authentic wellness is a human right each of us is entitled to define for ourselves regardless of societal expectations + status quo.

From childhood through adulthood, we are bombarded with messages that wellness and success are found in what we can afford to buy, the accolades we receive, and the things we accumulate. This has resulted in a multi-generational crisis of widespread loneliness, burnout, and disconnection from self and our communities, among many other challenges.

In this corner of the internet, we choose a different path. We choose authentic wellness that doesn’t rely on the manipulation and toxicity derived from capitalism. We believe that authentic wellness is a human right that each of us is entitled to define for ourselves regardless of societal expectations or status quo.

This platform is a safe space for community, connection, and exploring how everyday people live, pursue, and embody authentic wellness on their terms. We don’t tell you how to live your life. We show you how we live ours.

ABOUT KASHARA:

Storytelling: Since 2017, I’ve been holding space for conversations with people from all over the world to discuss the things cultivate meaning in their lives and work. The core purpose of my candid interviews is to inspire, grow and connect us through honest and in-depth conversations about shared human experiences. My life is richer because of these moments.

Design: My work rests at the intersection of thoughtful design and compelling messaging. With almost ten years of marketing, styling and web design experience, I collaborate with brands and companies to showcase their incredible work and create memorable customer experiences. If you’re interested in working with me, let’s get connected.

Other Projects: In 2020, I created Unpack It, a platform that collects global stories of microaggressions.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, traveling, and snuggling up with a good book and my dog, Ginger.
